The plants are bio-dynamically grown, and after 2 – 4 years the roots of the plants are harvested. Irish Botanica® only uses the root of both the Echinacea and Valerian plant, the part most favoured by medical herbalists, because the root contains the essence of the plant with the most biologically active ingredients.The root is then washed and water and alcohol are added to make it into a tincture. This is then pressed and the tincture is extracted.

This entire process from harvest to product takes place on the same bio-dynamic farm ensuring that you have consistent treatment results.
